Picture 1: is with the key ON but engine OFF. I choose this over the Peake because of it however, the portability of the AE setup is not so portable. :eeps:ĪE is also worth it because of the OBD-II diagnostic capability so that you can use it for other vehicles. I just had to buy it blindly since no one would step up to say anything-either that or no one had it. I wish before I bought it, there was a Q&A session. Now if I can only relocate the OBD-II port and get a mini-notebook and I will be in business for the live logging. I'm just so used to my easy AE with BMW setup for pulling codes. I still have yet to try out the diagnostics, but have done some recoding. Surprisingly, the Chinese knock off DK yellow head setup works quite well. I do know that you can activate modules and components, but I have been hesitant to try. I think it may do later models but not my 2001. I have not tried tinkering with it much but found out that I couldn't use it to bleed my ABS module.
